School Code for GRE/TOEFL: 6822
Department Code: Depends on your Department
d) A bankstatement of your sponsor stating a balance of 26, 809$
e) Letter from sponsor
f) Medical Insurance Proof
g) An application fee of 50$
Note: These are generalized requirements. Some departments may have extra requirements also. To make sure, check your respective department site for that (http://www.tamuk.edu/engineering/departments/index.html).

4. Once you send an aplication, you will receive a student ID number from the university through an email in 2-4 business days I believe.Through that number you can keep track of your admission status from www.tamuk.edu/bluegold/

5. You may receive a scholarship if the school people are impressed by your GPA and GRE score (GRE plays a major role in this). For this you should have to fill out an application and submit before the deadline. You should check on www.tamuk.edu/applyfor the applications and deadlines. The scholarship would be of 1000$ for an academic year. If you are approved for a scholarship you will be issued an instate. If you receive an instate, you are eligible to pay the same amount that local people pay which is 50% lesser than an international fee.

6. You may receive a teaching assistantship or research assistant ship from your department. Again your GRE score plays a major role here. Do remember that on F-1 visa, you are authorized to work for only 20 hours a week during fall and spring semesters, and fulltime on summer and vacation times. Pay depends on your professor offering you the assistant ship. He/she decides that depending upon the availability of school funds.
