Apart from taking the remuneration package of Rs.1 Crore and above, ileana is honored as top heroine in South who never cares for the comfort of producers. In spite of having a rough patch at Box Office, she has ample number of offers in Tamil and a big project in Telugu with her reputation of ‘expensive’ heroine unperturbed.
The Goa girl is presently starring in Tamil film ‘Nanban’ directed by Shankar, produced by Gemini Films Circuit for which she was paid as much as Rs.1.5 Crores. Hers is one more add on, reports say ileana comes to shooting spot not as single but she brings as many as half a dozen of her friends or relatives everyday and obviously, it is the duty of producer to bear their expenses for traveling, accommodation and food for all the six along with ileana.
More than original remuneration, miscellaneous costs for their staying in Five Star Hotels, food etc are extra drilling in the pockets of producer. Indeed this is not at all going well for producers but none able to raise a complaint after seeing the pity position of Aswini Dutt for ‘Shakti.’
