Amitabh bachchan is a liar? Yes, says an unfortunate victim. Big B while hosting the show Kaun Banega Crorepati was asked by a contestant to give his mobile number.
Amitabh reeled out a number.Within seconds the phone of a Patiala resident Bansal started ringing. He kept on receiving 1000’s of calls asking to speak to amitabh bachchan. When they were told that there was no such person by that name they some of them started abusing Bansal.
An exasperated Bansal learnt the real reason behind the calls was the wrong number given by Big B. The question now is – why did Big B lie to the contestant by giving a wrong number. As the show was live the Big B could have told the contestant that he will give his number after the show has ended. This would not have caused any needless trouble for poor Bansal.
