Rumours about Celina Jaitley’s wedding have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. And in typical Celina style, the actor kept a low profile about her marriage plans.
And as it turns out, the actor walked down the aisle with her long time beau, Dubai-based hotelier Peter Haag, on July 23 at a secret ceremony in a thousand-year-old monastery in Austria.
The light-eyed beauty has finally made an announcement to friends and fans on Twitter. She wrote: ‘Beloved tweeple…With great pleasure I would like to announce my wedding with @peterhaag on the 23rd of last month at a thousand year old monastery in Austria. We seek your blessings and good wishes, and apologize for the delayed announcement due to a family tragedy.” The actor also posted a wedding picture on the social networking site with: “Here is a picture of the most cherished moment of our lives. The following picture and my beloved husband, flanked by my dearest father in law to my left, and my brother in law to Peter’s right.” Celina and Peter have been together for almost two years now.
The couple got engaged last year during Durga Puja festival in the presence of their close family members. Hey Celina, we understand your need to keep your wedding affair quite private, but why spring such surprises? Anyway, hearty congratulations and here’s wishing you a happy married life!
