If you have used Windows Vista then you might be familiar with a Vista feature that allows to surf the internet without the need to launch web browsers , unfortunately this feature is missing in Windows 7 , actually its hidden . With this little Windows 7 trick you can easily make it unhidden .
- Log in to Windows 7 account with administrator privilege. Hit the Window+R or click the start button and type in gpedit.msc into the little box where it says Search Programs and Files and press Enter. Please note that gpedit does not works in Windows 7 home basic . Now the Local group policy editor will get opened.
- Double click on Administrative Templates under Computer Configuration given at the left , then on the right hand panel double click on ‘Add Search Internet link to Start Menu’ . Now click on the radio button Enable Option then click OK and you are done .
