How to Set a Video as Wallpaper ???

This might have happened with you when you have been watching a movie or video and a beautiful scene comes in the video and you wish to make that scene your desktop wallpaper . You might think of hitting the print screen keyboard button but unfortunately it doesn’t works with most of the media players when the video is played in full screen . But if you use VLC media player then you can easily set any video as wallpaper .

To set a video as wallpaper with VLC you need to enable direct X video mode . To enable this go to tools and select preferences then hit the video button there you will have the option to choose the output type select Direct X video output also check the ” Enable wallpaper Mode ” and finally click save.

Next time when you have take the wallpaper from the video just hit the “take snapshot button ” or from the Video menu select “snapshot” and your wallpaper will get saved to default location(My documents ) from where you can set it as wallpaper .
