Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, who is entering Tamil films with Rajinikanth's Rana, does not want the superstar to wait for her dates. Indeed, the actress is ready to readjust her call sheet to fit the actor's dates.Deepika told a leading daily that the movie is a very special for her and has promised the superstar's family that she will be available for the shooting whenever they wants to be onsets.
“Sometimes, professional relations go beyond the regular; this is one such case. I am a deep admirer of Rajini sir. He is a legend. And when it comes to Rana, I am willing to walk that extra mile if required.” the sources quoted the actress as saying.
The Bollywood actress adds that she is not in a hurry. As of now, she is only concerned about Rajinikanth's health and the movie can wait. Now, her relationship with the superstar's family is not limited to professional anymore, as she has become a good friend of producer Soundarya Rajinikanth.
Explaining about their bonding, Deepika Padukone claims that their initial days were limited to discussions related to Rana but now they are good friends. They text each other regularly on their personal notes. In fact, they hardly discuss about the upcoming Tamil film.
Recently, it was reported that Deepika Padukone was forced to reconsider Rana to avoid date clashes with her Bollywood projects. But the makers of the film assured that they would reschedule the shooting to fit her dates.
However, KS Ravikumar has already filmed a song in Chennai on Deepika Padukone. The regular shooting is expected to start in September 2011.
